About Perhentian

Perhentian island is located in the South China Sea on the north east coast of the Malayan peninsular, north of Singapore and south of Thailand .

Situated 21km off the coast of Terengganu, Perhentian Islands consist of two islands: Pulau Perhentian Besar and Pulau Perhentian Kecil, which are revered by sunbathers. Perhentian is a diver’s paradise with its colourful coral reefs that hug the coastline and its abundant marine life. A trip to this exotic tropical island is a must for all nature lovers and those who enjoy scuba diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, swimming, wind surfing, sailing, boating, and canoeing.

The best time to Perhentian island is between February to October when the crystal clear waters is at its best and excellent visibility makes it perfect for underwater photography.

Scuba Diving-
Diving is one of the most famous water sports available as the island itself is blessed with variety of hard and soft corals as well as a few ship wreck for wreck diver. Our Dive Center offers a range of leisure dive activities and dive courses conducted by professionals PADI instructor.For non-divers, experience the "Discover Scuba Diving" before taking an open water dive course and enjoy the underwater world of Pulau Perhentian.
Snorkeling
For non-diver, snorkeling to various snorkeling sites by boat is worth trying. Snorkeling in the marine park is safe for both children and adults. Experience the great time swimming among the wonders or marine life, gliding along with the turtles and move around the famed of crystal clear waters, magnificent corals and marine life.
Bidong Island - Forgotten Isle
Pulau Bidong lying 35 km off the main land is another stopover point for the fisherman. It was famous for being a Vietnamese Refugees Camp until 1991. Pulau Bidong is a paradise for game fishing as its water team with variety of game fishes. This unspoiled islands are a short boat ride from the main land. They offer day trippers the change to live out their deserted island fantasies, exploring the pristine beaches and crystal clear waters of the South China Sea.
