Planet Blue Carbon Coral Rehabilitation
Diving toward blue carbon credit

About Planet Blue Carbon

Founded in Malaysia in 2018, Planet Blue Carbon is an environmental initiative at work, toward the blue carbon credit.

Through its programs and courses dedicated to securing a sustainable future for coral reefs, the organization focuses on giving back to local communities and protecting the marine environment.

Since 2018, through a partnership and affiliate program, its started to offer coral rehabilitation e-course and underwater course.

Our mission

Coral reef protection and rehabilitation, through the scientifically proven methodology, is a cost effective and easy-to-implement way to rehabilitate coral reefs, where coral is declining due to various factors of natural and man-made threats.

The importance of healthy coral reefs to their surrounding communities cannot be understated, they not only provide them with food and revenue (through fisheries and tourism), but also stave off coastal erosion, thereby safeguarding land property from damage and reducing the risk of population displacement.

Debris free ocean
Cleanup everyday everydive

About debris free ocean

Alongside with our shark friend who adopted a few dive sites for the shark database via recreational activity, everyone is ensuring the dive site clean from any single marine debris. We are providing meshbag usage for everyday during everydive to encourage more people to be involved

Our mission

Keeping our ocean and ocean’s floor clean from any marine debris, especially plastics, ghost net and cigarette buts. Our divers are all equipped with a meshbag in their bcd’s pocket to encourage everyone to remove every debris that been spotted during any dive. The database will be sent to project aware foundation- which will be used as a tool to create more awareness to everyone
